This year's finalists

Winner: Drew Fleming

Extra Fancy Limited is a hospitality group based on the Isle of Man; we grew tired of people thinking they had to escape ‘the Rock’ to have a good time; we exist to provide our clients with a little bit of escapism from island living, whether that be in one of our venues, at one of our pop-up events or from the comfort of their own home. Drew joined Extra Fancy Limited in November 2018, working at the company’s (then) pop-up Peggy’s in a bar support role. He very quickly progressed through the ranks of Bartender, Head Bartender to General Manager and now a Director of the business. Born on the Isle of Man, he made the decision to stay on the Isle of Man to complete his undergraduate degree in ‘Marketing and Events Management’ at UCM. During which time he continued to work on an (almost) full-time basis and now manages 35 members of staff. More recently Drew came first out of more than 700 applicants in the 50 Best Bars ‘Blend Scholarship’ competition.
